Payment & Booking

A 50% deposit is taken at the time of booking this is non-refundable.  Full payment is to be made no later than 1 month prior the scheduled trip. 

Refund Policy

The following refund policy has been endorsed by both Consumer Affairs and the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission:

As an Owner operator of a tiny business I must have a very strict cancellation policy which is enforced. Every cancellation is a loss of income. I understand things happen so give me a call and we will see if we can’t work something out.

However, In the event of cancellations:

Please choose carefully when booking, A refund of a deposit is not available if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.

If you must reschedule, you may choose between an exchange of dates or a gift certificate that entitles the possessor to the same guide service you booked. This will be valid for 1 yr.

I will attempt to re-book the trip or move the trip to a different day.

If the trip cannot be moved and no booking replaces the trip your 50% deposit will not be refunded.

Participants arriving with less people that booked will still be charged the full quoted price.

Clients that do not show on the day will be charged for the full quoted amount.

If the event of severe weather I deem is too difficult or dangerous to fish I will contact you as soon as possible. You may choose between an exchange of dates or a gift certificate that entitles the possessor to the same guide service you booked. This will be valid for 1 yr.

However, as an outdoor sport fly fishing can be variable. Come prepared for the weather be it hot or cold. Please check with me before you decide to cancel. The weather is very different here than on the southern side of the divide. We often have good weather when Melbourne has rain. If you choose to cancel and I deem it safe to fish you will forfeit your deposit.

If for some reason you are unable to make the tour date due to illness etc. you may be able to change dates, however it is subject to availability. Again you may choose between an exchange of dates or a gift certificate that entitles the possessor to the same guide service you booked. This will be valid for 1 yr. After 1 year the deposit will be lost.

There will be a total refund if there is a catastrophic illness or death of a loved one or you are diagnosed with a catastrophic illness.

By paying the deposit you agree to the terms listed above.
